Makeover Tips

Makeup is a girl’s best friend only if you are taking proper care of your skin including sun care.

No amount of makeup can cover up poorly cared-for skin.

Never put makeup directly on your skin.

Using a moisturizer and primer acts as a barrier between the makeup and your skin, preventing your makeup from soaking in.

A primer fills in lines and smooths away imperfections.

A smoother surface will make it easier for a smooth makeup application and keeps your makeup on longer.

Now that you have a great skincare routine, check to see that your makeup hasn’t expired.

Expired makeup can harbor bacteria which can lead to acne, irritation, and infections.

Look for your makeup’s expiration date to avoid any unnecessary complications.

Look for the PAO (period after opening) symbol, the open cream jar symbol on your labels and packaging.

Replace accordingly.

No expiration date, no PAO symbol, no problem.

Here is an expiration guideline…
